Viewing the instance-level Artifact Type - Property Map
Overview
Blueprint allows instance administrators with the correct privileges to view the property-artifact type mappings within an instance. The Artifact Type - Property Map is helpful when you need to identify properties that are associated with artifact types. The map can help you maintain consistent configurations across artifacts in a project. The map can also be helpful when you want to clean up your data and identify properties that are not being used.
Note: The instance-level Artifact Type - Property Map only shows standard property and standard artifact type mappings. Project administrators with the correct privileges can view standard property, custom property, standard artifact type and custom artifact type mappings in an individual project by viewing the project-level Artifact Type - Property Map (Project Administration Console).
Here is what the Artifact Type - Property Map looks like:
Blueprint also gives you the ability to export the map to a .CSV file for reporting purposes.
To export the Artifact Type - Property Map:
-
Click the Export to CSV button.
The Save As dialog appears.
-
Enter a file name, select a location to save the file and then click Save.
The file starts downloading.
Once the download is complete, you can open the file in Microsoft Excel.
